So exciting to be a winner!

When I got the email that I'd won my first ever big writing contest, I wasn't expecting it. I had a cold. I was annoyed at my finances and the state of the world. My friends were all MIA. I was coming to terms with my own healing, both physically and mentally and my days were filled with doctors and lawyers. Then boom! Everything changed! And yet, had it?
